Noble Street College Prep dropped their record down to 5-6 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against Fasman Yeshiva, falling 10-0. The Golden Tigers were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but Fasman Yeshiva's pitchers proved too tough.

As for Fasman Yeshiva, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 13.0 runs this season.

For Fasman Yeshiva's part, Ari Joe Lefton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Lefton was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Yahu Greenberger and Shalom Chinn did most of the damage at the plate: Greenberger went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Chinn went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Those doubles marked the first that Chinn has hit this season. Alex Perl was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

Coming up, Noble Street College Prep will head out on the road to face off against UIC College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Fasman Yeshiva will be paying especially close attention to Noble Street College Prep's contest: after Noble Street College Prep faces off against UIC College Prep, they'll take on Fasman Yeshiva again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
