After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Silverado, Del Sol was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Valley Vikings 11-1. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Tony Luna, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That stolen base was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Bryan Sanchez, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Del Sol now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Valley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Del Sol will venture away from home to face off against Cheyenne at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cheyenne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14.2 runs per game this season. As for Valley, they will welcome Eldorado at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
