Softball Recap: Sheridan Picks Up Tenth Consecutive Win

Sheridan extended their winning streak to ten on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 20-4 in the process. Everything went their way against the Meadowbrook Colts as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Generals have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Meadowbrook, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this contest were averaging 3.38 runs allowed.

For Meadowbrook's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sommer Ginn, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Sheridan and Meadowbrook should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings.
