Football Recap: Cascade Christian Starts off Right with Win over Vale

Cascade Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down the Vale Vikings 29-13. This was payback for the Challengers, who suffered a 29-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cascade Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryson Walker out in front who rushed for 132 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Caleb Scaglione also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Cascade Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-6 victory against Douglas on the 5th. As for Vale, they have also already played their next contest, a 27-14 win against La Grande on the 5th.
