New Mexico School for the Deaf was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Reserve. Robert Huizar's team came in at 6 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
New Mexico School for the Deaf's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Roadrunners feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Julio Ruiz has thrown for 818 yards and 20 touchdowns this season, while Tyrel Wilding has 31 catches for 513 yards. Immanuel Neubauer leads the league in rushing with 989 yards.
The Roadrunners' Neubauer is a mere 11 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.
New Mexico School for the Deaf extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Gary Allison's team, 73-22. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
