The Stansbury Stallions's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Canyon View Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on December 27th. Hopefully Stansbury focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Wednesday.
Stansbury scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They claimed a resounding 53-21 victory over Hillcrest on the road. That looming 53-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Stansbury yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stansbury to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addi Hansen, who scored ten points. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her. Allie Proctor was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Canyon View beat Manti 47-43 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Canyon View.
Stansbury's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6. Canyon View's record is now 4-5.
Stansbury came up short against Canyon View when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 50-38. Can Stansbury avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
