Hutchison had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 65-46 win over the Center Hill Mustangs. Given the Sting's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 25th in Tennessee, while the Mustangs are ranked 125th in Mississippi), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Center Hill lost, don't look at Madison S. Hughes. Despite the final result, she posted 16 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Jakayla Williams was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Hutchison is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Center Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.
