Hickory Grove Christian was forced to take a big loss against they on Thursday, they got the better of them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Concord Academy Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won six contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Hickory Grove Christian moved to 8-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Concord Academy, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Hickory Grove Christian will be playing at home against Forsyth Home Educators at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Concord Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Metrolina Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
