Softball Recap: South Lyon Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

South Lyon never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against St. Mary's Prep on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Eaglets with a sharp 11-4 win. Considering the Lions have won six matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

South Lyon's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for St. Mary's Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1.

South Lyon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-0 loss against Stevenson on the 10th. As for St. Mary's Prep, they will take on Millington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
