The Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They blew past West Point 84-37 on the road. The win was nothing new for Carver College and Career Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.
Carver College and Career Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyson Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 19 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Camron Paul, who scored 29 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Carver College and Career Academy pushed their record up to 12-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 88.3 points per game. As for West Point, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carver College and Career Academy will take on Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mathews will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while Carver College and Career Academy is ranked 149th). As for West Point, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Northumberland at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th.
