Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Thomas Academy). Everything went their way against the South St. Paul Packers on Wednesday as they made off with a 13-1 victory. For the Cadets, this counts as revenge for the 6-5 win the Packers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

The victory got St. Thomas Academy back to even at 2-2-1. As for South St. Paul, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas Academy will challenge Tartan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.4 runs per game on average), something the Cadets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for South St. Paul, they will take on Kennedy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
