Despite the loss, Carsonville-Port Sanilac still got an impressive performance from Colton Sharpe, who rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Sharpe got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 58 yards.
Leading Mayville to victory were Luka Campbell and Ian Estrine. Campbell picked up 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Estrine rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown.
Carsonville-Port Sanilac will be defending their home-field for the first time this season they go up against Ashley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mayville, they will welcome Oakland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
