With a playoff game on the line, the South Holt Knights rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] 50-6 on the road. The victory was just business as usual for South Holt, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
Leading South Holt to victory were Cole Medsker and Kendall Noland. Medsker threw for 138 yards and three touchdowns, while Noland gained 141 total yards and three touchdowns. Medsker is absolutely dominating the rushing touchdown category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Cade Kurtz made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
South Holt's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
South Holt is on the road again on Friday and play against Plattsburg at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Plattsburg is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
