Middletown had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Wilmington Charter on Saturday. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Force with a sharp 14-3 win. Considering the Cavaliers have won four matches by more than ten runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Middletown pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Wilmington Charter, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middletown will challenge Mount Pleasant at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wilmington Charter, they will take on Conrad Science at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
