While it always takes a team to win, one person punching above their weight class on Tuesday was Kelsey Vaught. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. The performance marked the most strikeouts she has had since back in April of 2024.

Vaught's strong effort led Overton over Harleton and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
