Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chiawana). They blew past the Ridgeline Falcons 83-59 on Friday. The Riverhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caden Andreas, who went 7 for 17 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds. Andreas' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Pulsipher, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points and six boards.
The victory made it two in a row for Chiawana and bumps their season record up to 7-1. As for Ridgeline, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4.
Chiawana didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-52 win against Lewis & Clark on the 28th. As for Ridgeline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-46 loss against Kamiakin on the 28th.
