The Miles Bulldogs had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Sterling City 48-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for Miles, who have now won six games by 30 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miles to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hayven Book, who threw for 197 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Tevin Meade, who gained 115 total yards and three touchdowns.
The victory makes it two in a row for Miles and bumps their season record up to 8-3. As for Sterling City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.
Miles will take on Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Sterling City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
