Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dinwiddie). They managed a 70-66 win over the Petersburg Crimson Wave on Tuesday. The Generals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crimson Wave, too.

Among those leading the charge was Madisyn Hurtt, who posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Carolina Berry, who earned 12 points.

Dinwiddie's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Petersburg, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Armstrong the next time they take the court. Petersburg will head out to face Armstrong at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Dinwiddie will head out to face them at 1:45 p.m. on December 27th.
