Columbine won the last time they faced Bear Creek and things went their way on Friday too. The Columbine Rebels took their contest with ease, bagging a 77-36 victory over the Bear Creek Bears. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Columbine to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Speir, who shot 4-for-6 from deep and dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten assists. The dominant performance gave Speir a new career-high in assists. Maddy Allen also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.
Speir wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Columbine was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bear Creek only racked up 11 assists.
