Potomac has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Oxon Hill Clippers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Potomac comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last ten games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Last Tuesday, Potomac was beaten by the 58-16.
In what's become a running theme this season, Oxon Hill gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They breezed by Central Maryland Christian C on the road to the tune of 81-8. The win was familiar territory for Oxon Hill who now have five in a row.
Potomac dropped their record down to 0-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Oxon Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
Potomac was taken down by the Clippers 88-3 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Potomac avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
