Softball Recap: Heritage's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Heritage can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They blew past the Vista del Lago Ravens 11-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-3 on April 8th.

The team relied heavily on Natalia York, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Morgan Martens, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, two RBI, and one run.

Heritage was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are 5-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Heritage's record is now 5-15. As for Vista del Lago, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
