Softball Recap: Quitman Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Quitman had won five straight at home, but on Monday they bumped their record up to 15-5 to make it six. Everything went their way against the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs as they made off with a 7-1 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

As for Central Arkansas Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Central Arkansas Christian's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayla Myers, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Coming up, Quitman will head out to face off against Marshall at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Arkansas Christian, they will welcome Little Rock Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
