The Fort Loramie Redskins's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 44-35 to Minster. While losing is never fun, Fort Loramie can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 660th, while Minster is ranked 272nd).
Fort Loramie lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Eli Heitkamp, who scored six points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Boeger, who scored six points along with three steals.
Fort Loramie has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Minster, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.
Fort Loramie will head out on the road to take on Jackson Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Minster, they will be playing at home against Ansonia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
