Davidson Academy came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Clarksville Academy Cougars with a sharp 15-5 victory. Considering the Bears have won 18 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Davidson Academy pushed their record up to 22-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Clarksville Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.
