Leading Haines City to victory were Zebrelle Canaday and Arissa Jenkins. Canaday scored 21 points, while Jenkins scored 25 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Jenkins has scored at least 25% of Haines City's points. Amari Thomas was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Liberty's defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.1 points per game. As for Haines City, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
