The Crescent City Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 59-39 loss at the hands of Palatka. Crescent City has not had much luck with Palatka recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Defeat or not, Crescent City got some senior leadership from Kirabella Williams and Amarea Pates. Williams scored 15 points, while Pates. scored 13 points. That was a full 38.5% of Crescent City's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Crescent City has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Palatka, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescent City will take on Florida School for the Deaf & Blind at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Florida School for the Deaf & Blind will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Palatka, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. Augustine at 6:00 p.m.
