Meanwhile, Dove Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Norwood on Tuesday and fell  3-2. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mavericks  25-16 in the first  set.
 Dove Creek wouldn't go down easily and took Norwood into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-11, 24-26, 25-18,  15-8.
 Ridgway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Dove Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.
 Ridgway might still be hurting after the  3-0 defeat they got from Dove Creek  in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024. Can the Demons avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
