The Sports Leadership & Management Bulls suffered their biggest loss since November 25, 2023 on Monday. They were dealt a 52-19 loss at the hands of Pahrump Valley. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sports Leadership & Management has scored all season.
Pahrump Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paris Coleman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Moore, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Sports Leadership & Management's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.0 points per game. As for Pahrump Valley, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sports Leadership & Management will take on Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Pahrump Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while Pahrump Valley is ranked seventh).
