On Friday Dolores will take on Ignacio at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
Dolores ended up forfeiting their contest against Centauri 0-2 last Friday.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Ignacio, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They were dealt a punishing 8-62 defeat at the hands of Monte Vista. The state rankings had actually given Ignacio a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see if Dolores are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting matchup than their last) when the teams meet up.
