Tyson Pettingill made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Lucas Pettingill was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Logan Schouten also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.
