Camp Verde came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Red Rock Scorpions as they made off with a 29-4 victory. Aislynn Mulcaire made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one double.
In other batting news, Clancy Murdock was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kendra Molina, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and three RBI.
Camp Verde lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2024.
