The Juniata Indians will be playing at home against the Midd-West Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Juniata suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 69-31 loss at the hands of Halifax.
Meanwhile, Midd-West's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 59-47 to Lewisburg. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Midd-West in their matchups with Lewisburg: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite their defeat, Midd-West saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Garrett Leitzel, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Romig, who scored 19 points.
