There's no place like home for South Spencer, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Pike Central Chargers, posting a 58-31 victory. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Spencer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexis Harris, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 16 points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaci Meece, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 11 points and five assists.

The win got South Spencer back to even at 4-4. As for Pike Central, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Spencer will host Wood Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wood Memorial will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something South Spencer surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pike Central, they will take on Southridge at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Southridge will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Pike Central surely won't give up without a fight.
