South Beauregard came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Jennings Bulldogs. Considering the Knights have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

South Beauregard pushed their record up to 18-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Jennings, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season.

South Beauregard will square off against Hemphill at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jennings, they will face off against Pitkin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
