The Crestline Bulldogs are on the road again on Friday and play against the St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th. St. Mary Central Catholic took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Crestline, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Crestline earned a 35-28 victory over North Baltimore. The win was just what Crestline needed coming off of a 61-27 defeat in their prior match.
Crestline's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jocelyn Noblit, who scored 13 points along with three steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Noblit has scored at least 25% of Crestline's points. Jacelynn Miller was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to St. Mary Central Catholic, who are still winless after their eighth match. They were outmatched by Gibsonburg on the road and fell 53-18. St. Mary Central Catholic was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.
Crestline's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for St. Mary Central Catholic, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8.
