The Montebello Oilers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 51-43 victory over El Rancho. The victory was just what Montebello needed coming off of a 64-44 loss in their prior game.
Despite the loss, El Rancho still got an impressive performance from Justin Perez, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. Andrew Morones was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
The last time Montebello lost on the road was back two weeks ago. Having now won three straight away matchups, they've pushed their record up to 4-6. As for El Rancho, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Montebello will be playing at home against South El Monte at 6:30 p.m. on December 11th. As for El Rancho, they will square off against El Toro at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in El Toro's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
