Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Reservoir 'Gators, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were the victim of a rough 21-0 defeat at the hands of Leonardtown on Friday. Reservoir's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Jordan Tate threw for 53 yards on nine of 18 attempts. Brandon Mulira was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards.
Reservoir's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Leonardtown, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5.
Reservoir does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Leonardtown is on the road again on Friday and play against Perry Hall at 6:30 p.m. on November 17th. Perry Hall is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
