The Raymond Seagulls were the 47-42 winner over the Aberdeen Bobcats when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Raymond was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 55-54 to Aberdeen. Raymond has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Raymond lost, one person who can't be blamed is Christopher Quintana. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with seven steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Banker, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Raymond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Aberdeen, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raymond will challenge Chief Leschi at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aberdeen, they will head out on the road to challenge Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Centralia is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
