The Parkside Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 86-25 victory over Thurgood Marshall Academy at home. Parkside has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 27 points or more this season.
Parkside was led to victory by Semaj Marshall and Eliajh Butts. Marshall scored 19 points, while Butts scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kasson James, who scored 11 points.
Parkside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Thurgood Marshall Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Friendship Collegiate Academy the next time they take the court. Thurgood Marshall Academy will head out to face Friendship Collegiate Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Parkside will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
