The Desert Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 38-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lincoln Prep.
When it comes to explaining why Desert Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Anika Mulkey. Despite the final result, she scored 17 points. Mulkey scored a full 58.6% of Desert Christian's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Addison Jones, who scored three points along with five steals.

Desert Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Greyhills Academy at 10:30 a.m. on December 29, 2023. Greyhills Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Lincoln Prep will finish 2023 at home by hosting Williams at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Williams focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday.
