Howard scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 42-8 victory over Tapestry Charter. The win was just what Howard needed coming off of a 41-21 defeat in their prior matchup.
Howard found their leader in underclassman Zoe McLaughlin, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McLaughlin has scored all season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Cumberland Academy of Georgia, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They took a hard 30-15 fall against Mill Springs Academy back in December of 2023.
Howard now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Cumberland Academy of Georgia, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
