Pisgah got themselves on the board against St. Andrew's Episcopal on Thursday, but St. Andrew's Episcopal never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Dragons have won 14 matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Alyssa McMurtrey made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alex Holeman, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Avery Roeder was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Pisgah's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pisgah will challenge Ethel at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they will square off against Magee at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
