Volleyball Recap: Richardson Has No Trouble Against Hillcrest

Richardson not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 15th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Hillcrest Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-20.

Mackenzie Ratcliff paced Richardson's offense, picking up 18 kills. Ratcliff got some help from Aubrey Tennell and her 35 assists. Brazos Allred controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hillcrest's loss came despite strong showings from Kim Reese and Kailey Lara. Reese had 12 digs and two aces, while Lara had six digs and two assists. Anna Albert also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Richardson picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 15-11. As for Hillcrest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Richardson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Colleyville Heritage on the 5th. As for Hillcrest, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Wilmer-Hutchins on the 5th.
