Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Victorious

St. Joseph Academy won the last time they faced Old Plank Christian Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Flashes walked away with a 2-0 win over the Defenders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Flashes.

While St. Joseph Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23.

Suzi Valbuena was the offensive standout of the match as she had six aces and five assists.

Valbuena wasn't the only good server: St. Joseph Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.
