The West Nassau Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by Yulee 60-30. West Nassau has not had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Yulee had a senior duo take command as Alex Naumow scored 15 points and Logan Sellers scored 11 points along with three steals. It was the first time this season that Sellers grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jycere Richardson, who scored six points along with two steals.
West Nassau's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Yulee, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-12.
West Nassau will square off against the Trojans at TBD on Tuesday. Hopefully Ribault focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five last Thursday. Yulee is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th.
