Vandalia won the last time they faced Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vandals came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vandals.

Maddie Lofland paced Vandalia's offense, picking up six kills. Lofland got some help from Hayden Lay and her ten assists. Finally, Carly Eyman kept Vandalia's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Vandalia's victory bumped their record up to 2-15-1. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Vandalia will take on Ramsey at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, they will face off against Central A & M at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
