Goleman has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the North Miami Pioneers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Tuesday, Goleman came up short against Mourning and fell 75-63. That's two games in a row now that Goleman has lost by exactly 12 points.
Goleman's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Samuel Jimenez, who scored 12 points along with three steals, and Elijah Peters who scored ten points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jimenez has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Marcelo Bautista, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, North Miami entered their tilt with Jackson with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. North Miami walked away with a 66-55 win over Jackson on Thursday.

Goleman has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for North Miami, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Friday's game is shaping up to be a scrappy match: Goleman have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 40.3 rebounds per game. It's a different story for North Miami, though, as they've been averaging only 6.8 rebounds per game. Given Goleman's sizeable advantage in that area, North Miami will need to find a way to close that gap.
Goleman was dealt a bruising 72-44 loss at the hands of North Miami in their previous meeting back in January of 2021. Thankfully for Goleman, Derrick Edouard (who scored 20 points along with three steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
