The Aletheia Christian Academy Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 30 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 50-20 win over Covenant Christian on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Aletheia Christian Academy.
It was another big night for Riley Glazier, who almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, ten assists, and nine steals. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Violet Martin, who scored 12 points.
Aletheia Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Covenant Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Aletheia Christian Academy and Baker will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Covenant Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvary Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
