Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus

Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus had won three straight games and Cedrick Carter did his part to make it four on Wednesday. The Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus Ravens came out on top against Lycee Francais de Chicago by a score of 65-54 thanks in part to Carter, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 23 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last 38 games he's played dating back to last season.

Another player making a difference was Rejivieon Hudson, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 24 points and three steals. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Jordie Machara and Bonheur Balita certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Machara went 10 for 22 en route to 26 points and three steals, while Balita dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Sidy Doumbouya was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Lycee Francais de Chicago, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-3.
