The Corona del Mar Sea Kings will head out on the road to challenge the Aliso Niguel Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Corona del Mar is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Aliso Niguel in California (Corona del Mar is ranked 73rd, while Aliso Niguel is ranked 206th).
Last Thursday, Corona del Mar came up short against Marina and fell 60-53.
Meanwhile, Aliso Niguel entered their tilt with Mission Viejo with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Aliso Niguel breezed by Mission Viejo at home to the tune of 80-43 on Friday. Aliso Niguel pushed the score to 65-35 by the end of the third, a deficit Mission Viejo had little chance of recovering from.
Corona del Mar's loss dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Aliso Niguel, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.
